Verified Merchant Program Status

I submitted my client's application for the merchant program over a month ago and the status still says "in-progress". When I reached out over two weeks ago they said they were having an influx of submissions and that everything looked good so far but still no update. Has anyone applied or been accepted recently to share their experience?

I would recommend reaching out once more to the VMP team by filing a ticket and continue working with them so they can review your clients account. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

It took about 2 months to get verified. I think since the program is growing in popularity, it's taking longer to process accounts.
