Hi All! Curious about the Total Audience metric ... are they unique users or does that number include the same Pinner seeing content several times? If so, is there more insights around that?
TIA!

Hi @hostesstori !
Great question! I find the Audience Insights report isn't discussed enough and it is such a great tool in knowing what your audience is most actively interested in.
The Total Audience metric is the number of people who have seen or engaged with your pins. So I understand that as unique users.
However, Impressions and engagement metrics in your Analytics overview does report duplicate users since the focus is on the pin metrics and performance rather than the audience.
Hope this helps clear it up! 🙂
Happy Holidays!

I agree! Maybe one of the Pinterest mods can get confirmation from their side?

Hi @hostesstori and Happy New Year! This is a great question. Thanks @thehalcyonhive for sharing your insights, you are correct! Total Audience metric is made up of unique users and it only counts same users once. Check out this handy Help Center article for more on audience insights. Hope this helps clarify! 🙂
