Having a plan for Pinterest is incredibly crucial. One of the things you need to do is be clear about your target audience. What do they do in their leisure time? What brands do they follow? What’s going on in their life right now?
Then pin Pins that will attract your target audience- much as when you launched your company and you became clear on your ideal customer (you did it right? If not, do it right now), you need to know what your target audience is into.
Then establish boards for such themes and pin to them. Don’t make the typical error of simply pinning your own interests. Pinterest is about your ideal customer, not you. That doesn’t mean you have to open a personal Pinterest account or stop pinning things that interest you, you simply need to keep your personal boards private. That’s it!
