What brand is a good one to start out with and have is the best way to get in contact with them or how would they contact with me?

Hi @hbbsweet! For the most part right now, it's up to individual creators to reach out and pitch brands. You can also optimize your profile and presence to encourage brands to reach out to you, but pitching really is the best way to go, in my opinion!

I wrote a blog post about how to secure Pinterest brand partnerships and it is here:

https://community.pinterest.biz/t5/blog/how-to-secure-pinterest-brand-partnerships/ba-p/41153

I think you'll find this excerpt particularly helpful:

(This part was actually guest-penned by friend Austen Tosone - but it's on my own blog so I like to reference it to support creators here!)

----------------------

"Brainstorm a list of 10-15 brands you think you may want to work with. Not sure where to start? Walk through your daily routine in your head.

What are you using to wash your face? Make your coffee? Walk your dog? Organize your tasks?

Start to jot down brands that you use on a day-to-day basis and that you’re super familiar with – so you can make a stronger case when you reach out."

-------------

Head to the full blog here in the Pioneers area, though - it has more context. It includes tips for finding the right people to pitch and how to pitch.

I hope these ideas help you! Keep us posted.
