📹Video is becoming more and more important on Pinterest. From Video Pins to Idea Pins, creating video is essential.
A question we hear fairly often is:
What do I use to create video pins when I am new to making videos?

✨Are you creating Video Pins or Idea Pins on Pinterest? What's your favorite tool to use?
@simplepinmedia Hi there
For Video Pins I prefer to use Vimeo (if I am being honest) but I also like using the Pinterest App.
For me it depends on my topic.

Thanks @simplepinmedia - this is a great list, thanks for taking the to list features and benefits. The Adobe Creative Suite is another for the designers out there. My wife and our designers tell me they have never used the video creation and editing, however. For me me, and people like me with limited skills and patience, I quickly fell in love with CapCut app - it is free and as far as I can tell has everything you need! Have you tried?
I usually adjust colors on my videos using A Color Story app, and recently started using InShot to edit my video clips. But I prefer to finish everything up right within the Pinterest mobile app.
I like that I can save drafts for posting later, and I also like giving my Idea Pins their own "look" via the Pinterest app, instead of having them look like a repost from another platform. I tend to post slightly different content, too.
Does anyone know whether drafts will sync between the Pinterest mobile app and the desktop app?
As of now it doesn't seem to be the case. If they would, I'd probably continue to use the mobile app for putting videos together some of the time, and the desktop for writing the descriptions/doing some of the editing.
@ideachicretail No, I haven't tried that app. There are so many to choose from!
We definitely like Adobe as well!
Thanks for adding your thoughts.

@lizlangley That' a great idea - adjusting your content look with the Pinterest app to add sudtle differences. I'll have to try that.
Unfortunately, your draft on one device does not sync with your other device. All drafts saved on a device are only on *that device.
I agree that it would be easier as a creator!
