How do I delete all saves from a Pin?

We have a pin that went a bit viral... 23M impressions, and 145K saves. This has brought a lot of unwanted traffic to our website, since we are no longer affiliated with that product. 

If I delete my pin, will it also delete all saves? How do I make sure it's deleted everywhere? The amount of emails we receive regarding this product is very frustrating.

I'm interested in deleting a few more pins, but also concerned about saves floating around Pinterest and continuing to get repinned. Am I making it more difficult to remove all pins that contain the image, if I delete the original?

Please advise.

When you upload something to Pinterest, other users are able to repin your Pins. These will remain live on Pinterest even when you delete the originals of those pins from your boards or if you delete your account. The only instances wherein we are able remove the Pins are if the Pins contain sensitive info about you personally (your name or a picture of your face) or otherwise if, in fact, there is copyright ownership over said Pins.

 All of my pins are images where I have copyright ownership. So does that mean that I could request that any of these be removed with all pins containing the image? Do I have to send a request before deleting the original pin.to be sure all repins are removed?

Also, I have heard that deleting any video original pins will automatically remove any repins? Is that correct?

Hey @mcguirekitchenbath! Yes, you can delete your Pins at anytime you prefer. 

Regarding the copyright issues, what we recommend you to do is filing a ticket to our copyright team through this reporting form.

Could you also answer my other question regarding video pins? Does deleting my original video pin automatically remove any repins? I heard that they are different from image pins. Is this correct?

Hi @mcguirekitchenbath! Yes, Video Pins will be deleted if the original one is removed. Keep in mind, you cannot edit a Pin’s image, video or audio contents once it’s been published. Instead, you’ll need to create a new Pin. You can check this Help Center article for more info.
