Hi,
I added some ads and give the pin that is promoted a special link. This way we can track the clicks on our side too. Now let me give one example. I added an ad two days ago to test. According to the Pinterest ad dashboard is has: 10 clicks. However, when I look in my internal tracking system, all of them are from IP 54.236.1.11 or 54.236.1.13. Which as far as I can see, are IP addresses that belong to Pinterest.
It seems logic that a Pinterest bot is following the link to check the content. But why are those clicks counted and I have to pay for them too?
I'm confused. I don't want to pay for fake traffic.
