Zero impressions

I created a new profile for my new blog and made it a business account, claimed my website some time ago (maybe a month ago). - https://www.pinterest.com/escapepressed/
Last week I created some boards and pins (SEO optimized) and saved related-to-my-boards pins from other blogs and from Pinterest's search. I also used Tailwind to schedule and publish 48 pins.
But I didn't get any impressions at all. One was from my friend who visited my profile page, one from my other personal profile, and a couple I got from people on Facebook who clicked my link to the specific pin I shared in a group.
I could see these several (eight in total) impressions on the pins themselves but Analytics page showed no data at all. And I also posted a Story yesterday.
After 4 days (today) Analytics page updated and now shows 96 impressions, 87 total audience. 84 of the impressions I got were from the Story. My other pins are not showing.
Is something wrong with my profile? Should I delete it and create a new one?
Thank you.

@escapepressed Hi there - I just followed you.

I know you were talking about 0 impressions but even those pins that get like 50 or 48 impressions its kind of like getting 0.

I really don't think there's anything wrong with your account I think its more content than anything else - not that the content isn't good but it could be wording that's being used in the description | pin titles and potentially it could be how the content is being presented.

Consider these accounts when creating content:

https://pin.it/PXzDpAi

Consider Colors | Fonts | SEO - make one pin with the above in mind and see how it does.

@escapepressed Hi 👋

I just saw your post and I went to your profile to have a look I would say that your account | profile look fine and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it.

The only suggestion I would make is perhaps try changing up your content a little bit including adding more of your own content I have learned .... I guess the hard way that the best way to get views is really just to add good quality content really regularly.

No doubt, based on what you do you understand Pinterest - what I have learned personally is that Pinterest does take time to build (slow burn) of course well worth the time but if you have just started to build your profile | account it will take some time and Pinterest is still learning about you and your pinning habits | likes | content creation and so on. I have in my own experience learned that Pinterest is really a platform that integrally is "Quality over Quantity" and so unlike other social media Pinterest and its users won't reward your profile | account immediately but definitely will over time.

Consider using more video as right now especially on Pinterest video is super popular - for example if its used on your profile cover it can really help people who visit your profile to understand who you are and what you do. I use Vimeo specifically for my videos and I also use Canva when creating pins amongst other apps both of the above apps partner with Pinterest so integration is super easy creating in one and uploading to Pinterest (no extra steps).

Consider using Pinterest Ads to get the word out - I do use ads especially when I started and they helped me immensely when it came to building brand awareness.

Before you delete and recreate give it some time and keep creating content, use high quality images, and video and definitely keep on top of your brand as what you do is very popular and interesting.

I really hope this helps you.

Lisa

@bodymindmood Thanks for your help! I'll try to create more content.

I am just scared that something is wrong with the profile, as if Pinterest thinks that my website is bad or something and doesn't show pins with links to my blog.
Because I have many impressions on Story pins (without a link) and zero on normal pins (with a link).
I also never saw anyone saying they have zero impressions. Usually, bloggers say that their traffic is not growing or suddenly dropped but they still have many impressions and clicks.

Do you know any cases similar to mine?

@escapepressed funny you should ask....

I have created a little video for you to watch (sometimes its easier to show rather than write).

Video Link: Example On Pinterest

Please do write back if you need anything else and I hope you will contribute in the community more - that will also help there is lots to be learned about Pinterest from the PBC.

@bodymindmood Thank you for your help!
I subscribed to your channel on YouTube.

I was asking about 0 impressions, though, not 10-100.
I understand that some pins might get fewer views than others because their engagement rate is lower, however, my pins are not showing at all which means there is no way the algorithm can estimate the engagement rate.

I'll try to create more content, I guess, and see what happens.

Pinterest is a slow burn and it takes time to rank your content. All you need to do is to keep pinning fresh content.
