Hello,
I have a very weird situation going on with my Pinterest account. I recently created a profile on Pinterest. My user name is @TheRoyalCharter14 (https://www.pinterest.ca/TheRoyalCharter14/_created/). My website domain is https:www.theroyalcharter.com
But whenever I pin anything from my website https:www.theroyalcharter.com, the pins on my Pinterest profile show another account on it with the user name 'theroyalcharter' (https://www.pinterest.ca/theroyalcharter/_created/) for following the suggestion. This is not my account.
Also, this wrong account now shows my registered domain on its bio details, and all the pictures pinned on this wrong account show my website details under the pins.
I have attached pictures of my account @TheRoyalCharter14 and the other account @TheRoyalCharter
Can you please look into this and let me know how to sort this out.
Thanks.
How strange! Have you reached out to Pinterest support yet? I would start there by explaining the situation and sharing screenshots.

Hey there @TheRoyalCharter14 & welcome to the community! I believe you will need to file a support ticket for your issue. You're more likely to get a detailed response if you go into as much detail as possible & also include your screenshots.
You can file your ticket here: https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact
Hope that helps! 😊
Ooops sorry @thehalcyonhive I just posted the same thing to them... arrggh I didn't see your response, sorry about that.
Thanks, @thehalcyonhive, and @foodiehomechef for your replies 🙂 I have contacted Pinterest. Hope to see this resolve soon.
@foodiehomechef Great minds think alike! 😉
Good luck @TheRoyalCharter14 , I hope you get a positive outcome!
LOL, that's a great way to look at it! @thehalcyonhive
@foodiehomechefand @thehalcyonhive Thank you for your assistance. I appreciate your assistance. I got the response from Pinterest. They sorted out my side of the issue. When I claimed my website somehow it went and got linked up with some other user's profile. I believe it was due to similar usernames.
They asked for proof to be sure the domain belongs to me and then sorted it out. Now my profile and pins have my website on it and all the pins are showing under my profile.
The only downside is the other user's profile is still showing my website and now all the pins on that profile are directing towards my website. I believe the other user is not active on Pinterest anymore so not sure how to get this sorted out as Pinterest cannot take any action on another profile on my request. And that's justified.
@TheRoyalCharter14 Oh that's great news! It's always nice to hear a positive outcome... clapping hands 👏. Thanks for coming back & keeping us up to date 🙂
Sorry that you still have that lingering issue with the other person's account, but keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 that it won't affect you in any negative way.
