Our company noticed last week that all of the descriptions for our pins were replaced with the product and price information on our website. When we looked into it further, and it seems like this was caused by Rich Pins. Our product pages have the appropriate data for Rich Pins, but we don't want this overriding our pin descriptions that have specific keywords and hashtags.
We want to remove the Rich Pin data from our pins. This article here says we can remove rich pin data by placing a tag in the header of our pages. What will happen when we do this? Will our old descriptions come back to the pins? If so, how long will that take?
Also, any reason this suddenly happened last week? We don't remember ever applying for Rich Pins. Thanks!
