Hi All! I have been using Pinterest's built in scheduler to schedule the release of new, future pins, but I noticed that non of my pins were published yesterday.
Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't had a problem before so I'm betting it's a glitch or something, but figured I'd check in to see if I was the only one or not! 😊
@owlbbaking Hi there I am curious about the scheduler how does it work? I really don't know a lot about Pinterest Scheduler only about Tailwind - Do you use any other schedulers? If so are they good?
Lisa😁
Sure!! So, under the Create tab in Pinterest, where you go to create a pin, you should see two options; "Publish Now" or "Schedule for later". And then from there, you can pick a future time for when you want to publish your pin! I think everyone should have this option, but not sure if it's a test feature or something! 🙂
I was using Tailwind for a long time, but now that Pinterest changed to favor new content even more, I just create new pins and upload them directly in Pinterest and schedule them to publish over time.
All the best,
Liz
@owlbbaking Hi that's awesome I will definitely use that I saw it but I was thinking is it a good idea? & What exactly does it do? Silly I know but I have never used a scheduler for Pinterest and wasn't sure if that was a good option or if I should use Tailwind or Later? Lisa
Interesting, @owlbbaking! Did you get any kind of error message or did they just simply not upload? @realsouthamerica you can find more info about scheduling Pins in this article. 🙂
Hey @PinterestGabby Sorry for the delay in reply!! It's been a crazy week. 😋
I didn't get an error message, they simply did not upload. I haven't come across anything like that before so maybe it was just a one time glitch! I'm just a bit hesitant to try those pins again because i don't want them counted as duplicates. But, I suppose if they're not on my board, it's safe to say they didn't get posted!
No worries, @owlbbaking! Same here 😉. I made a note of this for product feedback, but please let me know if it happens again so I can flag it to engineering. 🙂
Will do, thank you so much!
