Pin descriptions get overwritten by Etsy description

StudioThreeD
Just visiting

When I create a pin, I link to my Etsy listing. This pulls the entire Etsy description and writes over the description I wrote for the pin. Some of my Etsy descriptions are over 1,000 characters. So when you click on More...a massive paragraph appears. Bullet points are stuffed in the paragraph and links that are in my Etsy description don’t work.

If this is permanent, then why write a separate Pin description? Still, it looks really messy. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am also having this problem and Pinterest themselves literally just sent me to this group where I see others having the same problem and no help for them either!

@StudioThreeD and @HolisticLifestyleGuide. hi, both! It sounds like you both filed support tickets...would you mind dropping the ticket # so I can look up the interaction with our team? Thank you!
