Dear Pinterest Team,
This is serious. My pins get a morbid drop from 25K to ZERO since Aug 13.
I received an email form your team 3 times then they stopped replying.
For your immediate action:
- All my pins get almost no impressions, no clicks
- I only get clicks now tailwind tribes
- daily average saves was 250, now ZERO
- all events lead to the theory that pinterest AI has been hiding all my pins. your team keeps saying that this is not the case, but the evidence is so high.
I understand your explanation about seasonality, but as you've been told, this drastic dropped happened after 2 hours. this is not by any means a rational explanation about seasonality or change of preference.
Again, if I've ever done any spammy behaviour which i haven't, please just say so and I will review my strategy and tweak it according to your advice.

Really hope to hear back in here because i stopped receiving emails from you now
Hi @thequotehouse, welcome to the community! Please check out our FAQ for more information and how to get in touch with support. I've tagged @tailwind for anything specific to Tailwind. Thanks and let us know if you have any questions in the meantime. 👍
Wow, the same date as me... Let's compare notes?
My pins usually get thousands of impressions in the first day, even the worst pin ever never gets under 1k impressions. Since the 12th/13th (depends on the timezone) it been <100 impressions.
My traffic (GA) vent down 40-50% so old pins are somewhat ok. I am convinced there is issue with the distribution of new pins. I can see pins in search and the following tab. You say the group boards are fine (I don't have any) so that won't be it either.
So is it home feed or related pins? Cause with the numbers now that seems like people seeing it in the following tab only - I asume the tab doesn't get visited much, or they accidently stumble into my profile/boards.
I'm impatiently waiting for the answer from support team (email), so for now I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. And that the date surprised me to be the same.
@imfierceafter40 @Kontentsia Hi both! Thought I'd drop in and shed some more light on this. Chances are, your domain has been accidentally flagged as spam by the weird 'faulty spam filter' issue Pinterest has at the moment.
I had it way back in April. I was seeing 5-10 impressions per pin at that time too. Took until early June for it to be fixed. It needs a manual fix from someone in Pinterest's specialist team.
Your best bet of a fix would be to email the Pinterest Business team through the 'contact us' page. Make sure to select 'measurement and analytics' and then hit the pin stats category.
Make sure to ask if your domain has been flagged as spam by mistake. It's happened to lots of us around here. Nothing you've done most likely.
There seems to be an issue with video pins not being approved at the moment too. Hoping that evens out at some point.
Hope that helps a little! 🙂
Let me know if you have any other questions!
How awesome that you are stepping up and telling us about your case!
Yes, I'm on e-mails with them. Pinterest has been writing but keeps telling that my account has no bug and is not flagged. However, all events are leading to this answers but they are in denial!
I will now write them that the manual fix you suggested was needed! This is indeed so helpful! no one, not even the Tailwind team has suggested this!
Have a great weekend! I'll follow you form my account!
@imfierceafter40 You're welcome! Just keep pushing with it. You'll get there eventually.
I think it took 45 emails from me in total (with many different support agents) for it to finally be fixed. I was also told at least 5 times in the beginning there was no block on my account. But, there's definitely a manual fix.
Thanks for following! I'll follow you back too. What is your Pinterest username? Is it the same as the one you're using here? 🙂
@typicallytopical @imfierceafter40 @Kontentsia Hi there your right about it happening to a lot of people I heard it from a lot of people here in the community. I haven't had any problems with the videos...yet but I am starting to get a little worried because I like doing videos I am kind of holding my breath when I publish now 🤔
Hope you are doing well haven't seen you in the community for a while....
Thank you! @typicallytopical
- Just followed you now from my Pinterest!
- Horrible, from 4.1 million, I'm down to 3 million is the ten days they dropped my engagement.
- They emailed last night saying that they "SAFE-LISTED' my URL and that it should go back to good engagement now. They are saying this kind of a "manual fix". However, I have not seen a change in engagement. Does it take days for engagement to go back from your experience? Or should engagement go up ASAP when this manual fix happens?
I'm not seeing any spike in spite of this fix they said they did. Do you advise me to wait a few days or to email them again to tell them nothing has changed in spite of this safelisting?
Thank you so much for all your advice, I won't get to this point with the pinterest team if not of you!
Have you received a reply form them yet?
they kept telling me there's nothing wrong with my account but there is defintely a bug in my URL and looks like they blocked it
@typicallytopical They said the "safelisted" my URL as manual fix and that engagement should be back soon. That was 15 hours ago, still no change. Should i write them again or does this take a few days to improve? I'm thinking whatever did they is not really working. None of my pins are getting engagements. still at 2-5 impressions .
