I created a ticket with the following title "Falsely Marked as Spam: Impressions have dropped dramatically".
In the ticket, I noted that my impressions have gone from 2-3k to 1-5. I would like to know if I have been marked as spam. (see attached images)
In the response email, it discussed how my account has not been suspended. This is excellent news except it does answer if I was marked as spam.
I looked up the rules for not getting spammed and nothing is being violated.
1. I am not stealing pins
2. My Volume for behavior on Pinterest is average
3. All of my pins match my content
4. None of my pins contain disallowed content
5. I am not posting any repetitive pins, instead, I am creating 7 - 15 new pins everyday.
So, any help on figuring out why this is happening as well as fixing the problem would be most appreciative.
I have recently had a massive drop in impressions on my new pins.
Within the last few days, every pin I have created has received no more than 10 impressions within the first 24 hours, and none have gone above 20 impressions. My stats show that my overall impressions have decreased by almost 25% but it seems like much more because I getting thousands of impressions on most pins and at least in the hundreds if not.
I have not changed my pinning - I normally pin 2-4 new pins every day, and make sure the content is fresh and unique. I’m also not re-pinning my own content.
I know there have been a few issues with spam filters lately, so I wanted to reach out to see if maybe there’s a bigger issue with my account or the possibility that I was flagged as spam.
I know there are issues with Pinterest right now but I'd really like some insight and any advice on what I can possibly do to resolve this. I have already contacted email@example.com with only canned responses.
Just you wait until you experience my problem… Impressions and save numbers rolling backwards. Losing 200,000 monthly views in a day when my page went wonky last Wed. Also saves decreasing (actually going backwards) when I click or touch the more stats page of my video pins 🤬
It's the same for our account. Our pins don't get impressions like before. Our viewers earlier this year was at 1M+ per month now we're down to 600k.
Is there a ways for any specialist to confirm that our domain is not marked as spam or flagged in any way please? October has been particularly dreadful so finally making the decision to ask around here seemed like a good idea. @PinterestGabby @PinterestJanice
I'm still tanking months later and nothing I do is working. Videos..still not getting really shown. Content my followers want to see (I have researched everything), still not being shown to them. Only my old content is being shown, 99.9% of my few and far between likes and saves these days is from content over a year or more old. Anything I create new, no matter how much on point for my followers and trending, Pinterest just won't show. I'm not marked as Spam either. I have commented on here multiple times and sent many many requests for help to the help center with no real answers for my personal situation.
I'm wondering why I bother creating new content for Pinterest (those FRESH PINS) if Pinterest just does not care to show anything I post anymore. Yeah 5 impressions on a pin I worked on for an hour 😛 Maybe the key is to just stop posting. I don't know anymore and I'm supposed to be a marketing expert. This has me stumped beyond belief.
@bepzillar Hi there!
Yeah, that happened to me too, this is the answer Pinterest team gave me:
"Greetings from Pinterest!
I see you've contacted us earlier regarding the same issue. I can completely understand your situation right now. Please be assured that your account is not flagged for spam. We're having this issue with a couple of other business accounts too. Our engineers are already working on trying to fix this as soon as possible. Now, I know this is not the answer you're looking for but we do not have an exact estimated time for this issue to be resolved.
Keep creating new content and post fresh pins. Things should be back to normal soon.
I appreciate your understanding and patience. "
Unfortunately this has been happening to me since last August, and I received this message from Pinterest too, asking me to continuing posting new content and fresh pins!
