I am setting up a new ad account and we implemented the Pinterest tag with the shopify app. I ran a test checkout and realized that it didn't account for the $6 shipping fee when it tracked the conversion value. Is there a way for the tag to track the full order value - e.g. $12 product + $3 shipping, so the conversion would be reported as a $15 order value in reporting? Or am I better off manually placing the Pinterest tag on our website backend?
Hey hey, @jjfryy! Hope you're doing well! If using the tag automatically placed by the Shopify app, you won't be able to do what you've proposed. Our support team recommends that you'd be better off doing a manual implementation of the tag. Hope that helps and please let me know if you have any questions.
