People are illegally downloading Pinterest images and posting on Instagram, putting "copyright Pinterest" and thinking that is sufficient credit. As you know, copyright remains with the original photographer. A blogger told me today that she thought that anyone could upload whatever they liked from Pinterest to use as they please. Many of our photo and video pins have been uploaded to Instagram without our permission. This is also the case for many other content creators that we know. You need to make it impossible for content thieves to continue.
When will you remove the Pinterest app download button and disable the right click save button on desktop? Google did this several years ago. It would be very easy to implement and would send a clear message that you truly value content creators.
Hey @LuxuryColumnist, apologies for the late response here, I hope you didn't think we were ignoring you! I connected with support and a member of our team should've reached out to you via email to follow-up. LMK if you have any questions in the meantime and welcome to the community, hope to see you around. 👍

Same concern here - as a visual artist, using Pinterest to advertise my work is pointless if the "download" function can not be disabled. Can this feature be disabled? If not, I will have to reconsider my Pinterest strategy, which was to include paid ad placement as well.
