I'd love to find out your workflow for using Pinterest to market your business.
Some workflows are monthly, others work once a week, and others do something different. Some use third-party platforms to post and others post directly to Pinterest.
I hope this post will help share that there is no right way to work on Pinterest to grow your business and give many ideas on how you can use it.

Thanks for the question @dizudiyasp I don't get paid as a creator - I use Pinterest to drive traffic and brand awareness for my coaching and agency. All creators who get paid for their posting make different amounts. Tagging products and companies that you appreciate could potentially turn into a paid offer if a product or company likes your content. Typically the creators that get paid to create are very active and get contacted by the companies directly to do this. You might find more help in the Creators section here. Excellent work!
Hi everyone! I'm Viola, and I'm the owner of an Etsy shop called littlebrushprint that specializes in digital nursery prints. It's truly exciting to join this community of creative minds.
As I work towards boosting traffic to my Etsy shop, I've been actively using Pinterest. I create pins that showcase my nursery prints, aiming to engage potential customers. However, despite my dedication, I've encountered a bit of a challenge, with less than 1% conversion so far.
One aspect that's been quite time-consuming is posting directly on Pinterest. I've noticed that idea pins tend to get more views than standard pins, and crafting them individually is taking up a significant amount of my time. Still, I'm determined to optimize my strategy and learn from the experiences shared within this community.
I'm genuinely excited to connect with fellow business owners, exchange insights, and collectively find innovative ways to make the most of Pinterest. Looking forward to an enriching journey ahead!
I hear ya @littlebrushprint Congrats on your dedication! Pinterest is a wonderful way to drive more traffic. A couple of things to keep you motivated:
1. Pinterest is a search marketing platform as opposed to social media marketing so it takes longer to really well. You can compare it to blogging and youtube (also search marketing platforms). The content gets in there and over time, you'll get good traffic.
2. When it comes to organic pins, graphic or standard-type pins are amazing at driving traffic (pin clicks and outbound clicks) and are helpful for more conversions. They are considered the foundation on Pinterest. organic pins that are videos (what Idea and video pins were) are amazing at providing engagement (likes, follows, saves). BUT, they both work hand in hand and both help the other get more reach on Pinterest.
3. Keywords are incredibly important and it's so helpful to use a variety of keywords on your pins, meaning having text overlay (text on the organic graphic pin), different keywords on the title of the pin, and a plethora of keywords in the description written for your ideal client or the person you want to "click" through to your Etsy shop. You can gather these keywords by doing a search in pinterest and paying attention to the drop-down menu and what alternative keywords pop up. And trends.pinterest.com is amazing for that also!
4. Create a system to make things faster. You can do this by creating a workflow like working on vthe video-type pins (creating that content) in the same block of time. Working on the same type of work in the same time each week allows you to get faster at doing it. Then you can schedule those pins out over the next week or two on Pinterest. There is a schedule button on the bottom of the pin to do so. Additionally, you can use Canva (free) to create templates that you use again and again with different photos and colors, which will help with creating those standard pins.
I want to congratulate you for realizing the incredible opportunity Pinterest offers by way of free marketing for your business and also for your dedication to growing your business. I encourage you to keep pushing forward as it will pay off!!
Some of my pins that rank each month are from the work I put in years ago. So the time you spend now can pay off for a long time to come!!
Hey @jenvazquezmedia , thanks to start this thread as I am also want to see how people work on Pinterest to grow their business. As I just start my new project UK49s predictions and recently work on Outdoor camping gears and I'm always lazy when we talk about post on Pinterest.
Always I try to post manual on Pinterest but after 5 to 10 days things again distracted from track. People answer helpful.
Now I think once in a week is ok, so I can make a schedule for this. Can you think this will help me to grow my new project on PInterest?
@outdoorcampingtime Good for you!!! Yes, once a week adding a pin each day through the Pinterest scheduler will really help you to show up. Many of my clients find that if they double that time a week, they can stretch to two weeks of content. That helps when you're sidetracked or go for a holiday. Good for you!!! Keep up the good work!! I'm cheering you on!
@veronikalipar please I don't have a website, can I create pins on Pinterest? Will I make any money from it.
