Hello Pinterest!
I recently faced an issue with my Pinterest tag. It was showing as "unhealthy". To solve this, I followed the instructions for "Pinterest Tag Helper" for google chrome. The tag was fine, and every checkmark was "Green".
But, on Pinterest it is still showing as unhealthy. What is the issue?
PS: I am also seeing a drop in impressions. Yesterday, it was 8.58K, today it is 7.57K. Please help me with a solution for this as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Pratik
@PMLogosDesigns Hello Pratik, welcome to the PBC!
I have checked your website and tested your Page Visit and Add to cart events and they're both working as expected.
It can take up to seven days after an event is fired for the Pinterest Tag to be considered healthy, so you'll just need to wait for it to be updated. I would recommend checking Ads > Conversions and making sure that Pinterest is receiving the Tag fire information.
Regarding the impressions drop, like other organic distribution platforms, Pinterest sees natural ebbs and flows with content distribution which results in variations in impression volume and viewership. Often times, fluctuations can result from changes in seasonality, related interests for content, format type, engagement rates or updates that Pinterest makes to our system to better deliver valuable ideas to Pinners. Just like our users' interests evolve, we can expect the distribution of content to see natural ups and downs as well. We encourage creators to continue to post high-quality, inspiring ideas to see what resonates with their audience on Pinterest.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions!
I just checked the tag; it is working fine now. Thank you @PinterestIvania for sharing the info.
Regarding the impressions. It was 7.8K yesterday. Today is 6.7K. It is dropping really fast.
I do post regularly, and every day.
I will keep checking the impressions and wait for a few days see what happens. I will be back with you if it does not improve.
Thanks,
Pratik
