When it comes to updating Catalogs, how often should I manually go in to do so? Additionally, is there a way to connect QuickBooks to Pinterest without using an outside platform?

Hello @colhousedesigns! 

I suggest updating your catalogs anytime there is a change in inventory. You want your data feed to reflect your available products with the most accuracy. 

Soon it won't be necessary to do this because Pinterest also just released a new Shopping API. It is currently in beta and hopes to roll out widely next year. The new features will include - 

• Enabling video assets in merchant product catalogs to give Pinners a view of the product from multiple angles when making a purchase decision and driving conversions.
• Automate the connectivity of merchant catalogs to reflect any inventory changes on Pinterest automatically. (you will no longer need to upload a new catalog manually when your inventory changes)
• Replace your Pinterest tags. (you will no longer need to install your tags manually)
• Give improved data quality of merchant catalogs.
