An Introduction

G'day.

I am new here and rather than just launch my self with the advice request that will come next, I thought it only fair to contribute by way of an introduction. Having been in the digital wilderness for years, I have returned. I am a nomad and I live in a truck with my wife and Staffy. We make things from reclaimed materials and sell them at markets all over the country. I have a reasonable knowledge of web technology but I am hitting so many brick walls trying to get our business online. We have been reluctant to follow the online sales route until now, mainly because there is nothing like seeing our products in the flesh and they are all different. We also love doing the markets and are planning to extend our range into Europe this winter buying, making and selling as we go. I have also written a book recently about our lifestyle which I was planning to serialise in a blog and add to as we go. I really feel that the social commerce route is a good one for us to take and Pinterest especially as our products just belong there. I have had problems with Meta who won't accept my passport as ID and now I am working through issues with Pinterest to get our merchant account approved. The differnce being that Pinterest offer some very valid points for the refusal that I am working through. The one I do not understand is 'The template of the website is incomplete'. It is a Wordpress site with Woocommerce platform. If anyone could shed any light on that it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and I hope to be a worthwhile contributor in the future

Thanks for the response. Specifically what I was hoping to learn was what does 'the template of the website is incomplete ' mean and how do I resolve it?

Thanks

Hi @RplusELB!

I strongly recommend taking a look at our Merchant Guidelines to make sure that your website is compliant.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do here in the Community considering that the support team is the one that can analyze your account and help you more with this.

Thank you, let me know if we can support you with anything else on the meantime!
