Once September ended, my traffic has gone down 50% in majority of my analytics. I sensed that something was wrong once my monthly view’s changed from 2.2m to 2.0m, even though I’ve been uploading content that is on trend, daily.
a few examples:
I’m starting to notice now that October, November, & December will be majorly driven by holiday trends and for someone like me, that’s hurtful to my blog.
I guess the content I post isn’t good enough? Or I don’t title the Idea Pin correctly? I literally have so many theories.
Being that my analytics are always changing, it keeps my head on a swivel, trying to make sense of it all lol
Has anyone else been dealing with a pretty apparent decrease in their traffic this month?
Hi @misstrishlyn! I'm glad you came in to ask this. It can feel like a roller coaster sometimes with these impressions.
Question: Are you creating the videos and the images in your Idea Pins? Or are you curating / aggregating content from others' accounts? The reason I ask is that I think I've been noticing that some "curation" accounts have been seeing drops in impressions.
Overall, it is really hard to separate the factors and really know what's going on. (You mentioned you "have so many theories" and I relate to that!!! I often feel that way when I'm trying to analyze analytics, too.)

I think people are being happy heading into the year-end holidays, and your Pins theme is Halloween horror. Is there any solvent to dissolve between Christmas and New Year's holidays with a Halloween theme? I do not know.
Yes, I have noticed mine in negatives too, and I have been consistent with change of season & trends?!!
