Hashtags, are they back?

Are Hashtags back? I know they worked for a while, then they went away. And now word on the street is they are back! 

Would love some clarity!

I know this can be confusing and we're always play catch up when it comes to Pinterest hashtags. Hashtags are not part of Pinterest best practices any longer. In addition I personally work with many Pinterest Ads Manager and there is no use for them. I hope that helps.

The reason I ask is a new student got an email from Pinterest yesterday saying to use hashtags! So I thought it was odd...

one of my Canadian clients got this is well! After some research recently, many are saying they are seeing their numbers rise when using them... 🤔 

I would appreciate some clarity on hashtags @PinterestGabby!
