Is there any impact on Pinterest account if i am creating 5 to 6 ideas pins daily?

Secondly, can we put direct affiliate links (like amazon etc) to the idea pin through product link feature of idea pin. I came to know that doing so will be responsible for suspension of account or shadow ban. If this is the case then why Pinterest has given this feature?

Also suggest do's and don'ts while doing affiliate marketing through pinterest.

Please suggest.

@IntoHomeDecor Hello there!

I recommend pinning 150 fresh pins a month, roughly 5 fresh Pins a day. I also think you should test different pin formats, including video and Idea pins because they get such favorable distribution across the platform.

Regarding product tagging in Idea Pins, you can tag your own products if you have tagged your standard pins with products from your claimed website or other products from partnerships with other brands. Pinterest likely has limited use of affiliate links inside Idea Pins to keep the focus on a creators claimed website.

You should consider publishing blog content with affiliate links and creating pins to drive traffic to your site. This is the most common way to integrate affiliate marketing into your Pinterest strategy. Here are some great articles that cover how to do this for your own blog.

You can also join an affiliate marketing network like Share a Sale - https://www.shareasale.com/info/

Always follow the rules to avoid account suspension or a shadow ban. Make sure you're creating really valuable content that puts the pinner first. This will increase click-throughs to your site.

Good luck! I hope this helps! 🤓📌
