Looking for artwork

Hi! I'm trying out Pinterest as a way to promote my artwork and website and am about to purchase a domain name. I just connected my business pages/accounts. Have not used Pinterest much.

I'm not looking to gain 50K+ views in my first week but I'd like to know what is possibly normal for a new creator account and what is not. My account is aboveaddictions and below is what I'm seeing (I'm pretty sure the engagement I'm getting at the moment is just me viewing my own profile...).

Want to get involved in the community!

Hi there!

It's great to hear that you're using Pinterest to promote your artwork and website. It's a wonderful platform for visual creators like yourself. As a new creator account, it's normal to start with a small audience and gradually build your presence over time. Engagement and visibility will typically increase as you consistently create and share high-quality content that resonates with your target audience. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you get involved in the Pinterest community:

1. Create compelling Pins: Focus on creating visually appealing and informative Pins that showcase your artwork and drive engagement. Experiment with different formats, styles, and descriptions to see what resonates with your audience.

2. Optimize your profile: Make sure your Pinterest profile is complete and includes a clear and concise description of your artwork, along with a link to your website. Use relevant keywords in your profile and boards to improve discoverability.

3. Engage with the community: Explore and engage with other creators in your niche by following their boards, repinning their content, and leaving thoughtful comments. This can help you build relationships, gain exposure, and attract potential followers.

4. Pin consistently: Consistency is key on Pinterest. Aim to pin regularly and maintain an active presence. This can help your content reach a wider audience and increase your chances of being discovered.

5. Utilize relevant keywords and hashtags: Incorporate relevant keywords and hashtags in your Pin descriptions to optimize your content for search and increase its visibility to users interested in similar topics.

Regarding views and engagement, it's important to note that Pinterest's algorithm and user engagement patterns can vary, making it difficult to predict specific numbers. However, focus on creating valuable content, engaging with the community, and optimizing your presence. Over time, you'll likely see an increase in views, engagement, and followers.

Remember, building a presence on any social media platform takes time and effort. Stay consistent, be patient, and continue to refine your strategy based on what resonates with your audience. Enjoy the process of connecting with the Pinterest community and showcasing your artwork!

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Good luck with your Pinterest journey!

Best regards,
Hamza Ali
