Hi @galaxy2102

It’s VERY normal to see monthly views and impressions go up and down - sometimes even way up and way down. 🙂 These metrics are influenced by factors like seasonality of content… the normalizing of a viral pin… general usage of the platform (for example, for most niches, summer is historically slow, but autumn brings more users, and even more leading up to the holiday seasons.)

Also, the monthly viewers is hard to ignore - because it’s front and center. But it’s not always the most impactful on your actual goals. So… Set some other goals and then make a plan (including using tactics and strategies) to get to them! This will help you focus on metrics that are more meaningful and that you have more control over.

Aaaalllllll that being said ;), pin distribution is somewhat mysterious - and complex. You could check out this article about how distribution works. I know when I read it, some things became more clear to me...

Pioneer Tereza also wrote a blog post about this recently - and I think you’ll find it helpful, too:

I hope this all helps a bit!

Here are some tips on how to increase your Pinterest monthly views:

  • Create high-quality pins. Your pins should be visually appealing and relevant to your target audience. Use high-resolution images and clear text.
  • Pin frequently. The more pins you have, the more likely you are to be seen. Aim to pin at least 10 times per day.
  • Use relevant keywords. When you pin, use relevant keywords in the pin description and title. This will help your pins show up in search results for those keywords.
  • Engage with other users. Like, comment, and repin other users' pins to get your pins seen by more people.
  • Follow relevant boards. When you follow relevant boards, your pins will be shown to more people who are interested in your content.
  • Use Pinterest analytics. Pinterest analytics can help you track your progress and see what's working well and what's not. Use this information to improve your strategy and get more views.
