What Pinners are searching for this week (week of 4/2)

Hi PBC! After a year of anticipation for the world to open up, Pinners are in planning mode as they await a slow and safe reopening. This week, we’ve rounded up searches for preparing to open up. From fun date night activities (60% increase in "hockey game outfit date") to an outfit for the perfect weekend adventure (145% increase in "theme park outfit ideas"), Pinners are ready to get out of the house and into the fun. As the days of long-distance relationships come to an end, people on Pinterest are celebrating with friend reunion trips (55% increase in "summer adventures with friends"). And last but not least, Pinners are feeding their travel bug with travel checklists (2.5x increase in "vacation pedicure") as they plan for their future vacations.

Pinterest-driven conversions are up in various categories including retail and beauty (40% increase in checkouts for sunscreen, 15% increase in checkouts for luggage & bags, 35% increase in checkouts for lipstick).

@JanaOMedia, I've admittedly only done one Clubhouse event and it was awesome!! I was a bit timid to get up and talk [stage fright] but it's a cool platform and I got to listen to some really awesome creators talk about their experience on Pinterest and creating content. I think I'll definitely be spending my time digging into it a bit more.... maybe I'll see you in the Profitable Pinterest room!! ❤️
