People on Pinterest are ready to say goodbye to comfy footwear and learn to walk in heels again (155% increase in "dream shoes heels"). They want to retire their ratty t-shirts to try something a little more polished (120% increase in "black jumpsuit outfit formal").
It also doesn’t hurt that both prom time (95% increase in "best friend promposal") and wedding season (70% increase in "mother of the groom dresses for outdoor wedding") are approaching, two occasions where it’s fun to play dress-up.
Pinterest-driven conversions are up in various categories including retail (90% increase in checkouts for makeup brushes, 20% increase in checkouts for wedding and bridal party dresses) and CPG (10% increase in checkouts for perfume and cologne).
