We are an agency running ads for clients that launch crowdfunding projects (i.e. Kickstarter). These campaigns are typically live for 3-4 weeks, so our ads need to convert quickly. I recently started testing out Pinterest as a new marketing channel, but everything I'm reading says Pinterest is a long game and suggests it won't work for this kind of quick turnaround. Do I have any chance to making this work for my clients? Would love some tips if anyone has success with this type of marketing on this platform.
Hi @backerkit,
Pinterest Ads typically needs 14-21 days to even optimize so you have read correctly you’re usually not going to see such a turnaround. For longer-term kickstarters this platform may work better. I think it also depends on the product and audience.
Thanks so much. That's what I was thinking. I have been testing anyway and I'm now seeing conversions (it's been about 7 days) with my custom list on a consideration ad. Looking forward to testing this more.
