Hey PBC! Serving up the Insights Weekly. 🙂 This year’s election season, the ongoing pandemic, and nationwide social unrest have put self-care into sharper focus for many people on Pinterest. Creating space to preserve their well-being — in their minds, their routines, and their homes — is now more of a priority than ever before. People have been turning to Pinterest as a resource to curate and protect that space. This week, we’ve rounded up the trending searches across self-care categories for this period.  Pinners are showing an increased interest in developing a regimented self-care routine overall (9x increase in "self-care checklist") with a key focus on mindfulness for the whole family (30% increase in "mindfulness activities for kids"), health (178% increase in "healthy autumn recipes"), and fitness (124% increase in "gym routine"). We’re also seeing a drastic jump in crafting spaces and styles that make Pinners feel more relaxed and cozy during this increased time spent at home (75x increase in "cozy room decor"; 7x increase in "comfy school outfits").

In this week’s round-up, we have also included a pulse on holiday searches to support you with your holiday campaign strategy.

Have you started your holiday campaign yet? What is going to be different for holiday this year vs pre-COVID holiday?
