Pinterest TV
We’ve launched Pinterest TV! Pinterest TV is the next stage in the evolution of Pinterest Live. This is Pinterest’s first serialized content: 5 shows, one running each weekday for 8 weeks. Fridays will feature an exclusive product drop from a different brand each week. Sign up for show reminders through the app! This new feature is available to US Pinners on Android and iOS. New Boardless Idea Pins Option
Boardless Idea Pin publishing is a new way to publish your content without assigning it to an existing board. Now, when you create an Idea Pin you will only be required to add a title and the option “Pick a board” will be optional. If you decide later that you would like to organize your Idea Pin to a board, you can select, “Edit Idea Pin” and have the option to choose from your existing boards. Created Pins will still show up on the Created tab if they are published boardlessly, however they will not be retrievable on the saved table or in the “All Pins” board.
Unlink Accounts
Attention! You now have the ability to unlink accounts (iOS and Web). If you have a linked business account you can now unlink your accounts to act as standalone accounts. (Users can include business, creators, and Pinners). This update is meant to add more flexibility and allow you to easily take self-service action on your account. For reference, linked accounts are accounts that share authentication with another account and linked business accounts are business accounts added to an existing Pinner account that shares authentication with that Pinner account. Holiday stickers are here!
We’ve launched a new set of seasonal Stickers! Stickers allow for you to add more personality and purpose to your Idea Pins. Our newest additions to the sticker library include Hanukkah and Christmas (live now). We plan to roll out stickers for Kwanzaa, New Years, and more in the coming month! Try them out and let us know what you think!
Instagram Claim Update
The ability to claim your Instagram is not being supported at this time, as our team is in the process of making some changes to improve the experience. Please disregard any emails you may have received prompting you to reconnect your Instagram as they were sent out in error on our end. Please note that while the feature is no longer being worked on, it may still be visible in certain areas in the product. Make sure to check out our updated Help Center article for more info on performance and distribution.
