What’s New?
To keep merchants connected with people on Pinterest and to keep shopping on Pinterest inspirational and actionable, we continuously look for ways to improve the Verified Merchant Program. Recently, we’ve added some new eligibility requirements, including the following:
- Your Pinterest account must be at least three months old
- Your business’s website must have been created at least 13 months ago (Note that this is separate from our general merchant guidelines, where the requirement is at least 9 months)
- Your Pinterest profile must have a profile picture, and a completed “About” section
We also monitor shopping experience quality while you’re in the program. Only merchants without excessive user reports about product Pins or their shop can join the program. Due to user privacy, we will not be able to share details about any user reports back to the merchant.
All merchants, both new and existing, must meet all our eligibility criteria and requirements in order to be part of the Verified Merchant Program. As a result of these changes, you may receive an email informing you that your verified merchant status needs attention and that some action may be required within 30 days of that notification in order to remain in the program. If the issues are not fixed within these 30 days, you may be suspended. Changes to your eligibility can take up to 24 hours to be reflected on our system.

There is a bug currently affecting some merchant’s domain age to be reflected incorrectly in our system. We are actively investigating this issue.
