We are excited to announce that our new Highlights feature is now available to all creators! Highlights allow you to create Idea Pins into a group folder to feature at the top of your profile. You can create multiple Highlights to help you showcase content that matters. This feature is an opportunity for creators to highlight more content visibility to your followers. Along with Highlights on your profile, you can now customize your profile cover and upload an image if you have a Pinterest business account. This customization allows you to showcase your unique vibe and branding! If you don’t have a profile cover, click Add a cover on your profile to upload an image. When choosing an image, some tips to remember:
- Image must be at least 800 pixels wide x 450 pixels tall
- Using a horizontal image with a 16:9 aspect ratio is recommended

What are Highlights on Profiles?
Highlights are a new feature that allows you to pin your created Idea Pins into a “group folder” at the top of your profile. You will have the ability to create multiple Highlights and we hope as Creators, with this new feature you have the opportunity to highlight your content that you want to be more visible to your followers.
How long are Highlights available?
Highlights do not expire and are available as long as your Idea Pins have not been deleted.
What happens if I delete the Idea Pin from my Highlights?
If an Idea Pin has been deleted, it will disappear from your Highlights.
Why is my profile cover now blank?
We’ve recently made some changes to make your profile more customizable for you! You can now upload images to your Profile to represent you and your brand.
What does this have to do with Profile Highlights? Are they the same thing?
We are offering some similar functionality with the Highlights feature, in being able to surface your selected content higher up on your profile.
Highlights allow you to pin Idea Pins into a “group folder” at the top of your profile. You will have the ability to create multiple Highlights using your Idea Pin and/or shop content. By adding this feature to the Profile page, you have the opportunity to highlight the content that you want to be more visible to your audience and followers.
